Liverpool are "in the queue" for Napoli star Piotr Zielinski seven years after coming close to bringing the Poland international to Anfield. The midfielder's contract with the reigning Serie A champions expires at the end of the season and a host of clubs are set to battle it out for his services.

Liverpool are once again being linked with a move for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski as the summer transfer window draws closer. The Reds were interested in the Poland international back in 2016. However, Jurgen Klopp ended up bringing in Gini Wijnaldum from Newcastle United instead.

Zielinski's agent Bartolomej Bolek has now suggested that the player has decided where he will play football next season. "I met owner Pozzo and spoke to Udinese today," Bolek told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
